Suite \u00e0 des changements impromptus dus \u00e0 des blessures, l\u2019\u00e9quipe\u00a0 canadienne de natation artistique a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 toute sa r\u00e9silience en participant \u00e0 un total de quatre \u00e9preuves diff\u00e9rentes aux Championnats du monde aquatiques de la FINA 2022, en Hongrie. y d\u00e9crochant une place dans toutes les finales et en obtenant un top 10 dans chacune d\u2019entre elles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans les \u00e9preuves du solo technique et libre, Audrey Lamothe<\/strong> a fait sensation lors de sa toute premi\u00e8re participation aux Championnats du monde. L\u2019athl\u00e8te de 17 ans a pris la 10e place dans l\u2019\u00e9preuve technique, avec un score de 83,0909 \u2014 \u00e0 seulement 0,7485 points de la 8e position d\u00e9tenue par la soliste mexicaine<\/span><\/p>\n

Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du solo libre, Lamothe a offert une performance m\u00e9morable de sa routine sur le th\u00e8me de la danse hongroise. \u00c0 son jeune \u00e2ge, le fait de d\u00e9montrer ces mouvements techniques et artistiques si habilement prouve fermement sa place au sein de l\u2019\u00e9lite mondiale. Aux finales, elle obtient son meilleur score personnel, qui est de 85,400, lui permettant de se classer en 9e position. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u2009J\u2019\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s emball\u00e9e de nager dans une si prestigieuse comp\u00e9tition. J\u2019ai tent\u00e9 d\u2019appr\u00e9cier le moment et j\u2019ai fait de mon mieux. Il y a tellement de choses \u00e0 voir lors de dans cette comp\u00e9tition, on voit beaucoup de pays\u2009! J\u2019ai beaucoup appris au cours des deux derni\u00e8res semaines rien qu\u2019en regardant toutes ces bonnes athl\u00e8tes s\u2019entrainer\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l’athl\u00e8te de Montr\u00e9al.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Manquant sa graduation de son \u00e9cole secondaire pour participer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement international, Lamothe prendra maintenant une pause bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e avant de recommencer l\u2019entrainement pour les Championnats du monde juniors de natation artistique de la FINA 2022 qui se tiendront \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec du 23 au 27 ao\u00fbt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans l’\u00e9preuve de routine technique, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a su faire face avec brio \u00e0 tous les obstacles qui se sont dress\u00e9s sur leur route. Deux membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipe, Rosalie Boissonneault<\/strong> et Alicia R\u00e9hel<\/strong>, ont subi des blessures malencontreuses, une d\u2019entre elles se produisant quelques heures seulement avant les finales. Les rempla\u00e7antes de l\u2019\u00e9quipe, Sydney Carroll<\/strong> et Claire Scheffel<\/strong>, durent ainsi s\u2019ins\u00e9rer rapidement pour assurer la pr\u00e9sence du Canada \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, qui fut tout de m\u00eame en mesure de pr\u00e9senter une solide performance, obtenant un score de 84,481\u20097 et se classant 8e.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9quipe canadienne a termin\u00e9 la comp\u00e9tition sur une tr\u00e8s belle note, prenant la 7e place avec une note de 85,200 lors des finales de la routine acrobatique<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u2009On est vraiment fi\u00e8res de la prestation qu\u2019on a faite aujourd\u2019hui\u2009! C\u2019\u00e9tait notre derni\u00e8re performance des Championnats du monde et on voulait vraiment mieux nager qu\u2019aux pr\u00e9liminaires parce qu\u2019il y avait plusieurs choses dont on n\u2019\u00e9tait pas satisfaites. Aux finales, on a vraiment amen\u00e9 \u00e7a \u00e0 un autre niveau\u2009\u00bb\u00a0 , a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Boissonneault, une des v\u00e9t\u00e9ranes de l\u2019\u00e9quipe. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

L\u2019\u00e9quipe avait \u00e9galement l\u2019intention de participer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve d\u2019\u00e9quipe libre \u00e0 Budapest, mais s\u2019est malheureusement retir\u00e9e de la comp\u00e9tition pour assurer et prot\u00e9ger la sant\u00e9 des athl\u00e8tes bless\u00e9es. Compte tenu de la difficult\u00e9 de la routine, il y avait un risque suppl\u00e9mentaire de remplacer ces nageuses par des rempla\u00e7antes. Ce fut une d\u00e9cision difficile et elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise en \u00e9quipe. Il est important de souligner qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019entrainement et qu\u2019en comp\u00e9tition, NAC consid\u00e8re d\u2019abord le bien-\u00eatre et la sant\u00e9 de chaque athl\u00e8te et continue de se concentrer sur la tr\u00e8s importante qualification olympique de la saison prochaine.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
