Le Canada a lanc\u00e9 la saison 2026 de la Coupe du monde en grand, remportant plusieurs m\u00e9dailles gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des performances remarquables tant en \u00e9preuves individuelles qu\u2019en \u00e9quipe lors de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape de la saison disput\u00e9e \u00e0 Medell\u00edn, en Colombie.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Olympienne de Paris 2024 Audrey Lamothe<\/strong> a remport\u00e9 l\u2019or aux \u00e9preuves de solo technique et solo libre gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 deux prestations dominantes. \u00c9quipe Canada a \u00e9galement d\u00e9croch\u00e9 la m\u00e9daille de bronze \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve technique par \u00e9quipe et a termin\u00e9 au pied du podium, en 4e position, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve acrobatique par \u00e9quipe. Le jeune duo form\u00e9 de Charlie Breault<\/strong> et Lily Bernier<\/strong> a sign\u00e9 une place parmi les neuf meilleures \u00e0 leur premi\u00e8re apparition ensemble en Coupe du monde, dans l\u2019\u00e9preuve de duo technique.<\/p>\n

Lamothe d\u00e9croche un doubl\u00e9 d\u2019or<\/h3>\n

Apr\u00e8s deux r\u00e9sultats parmi les 10 premi\u00e8res aux Championnats du monde 2025, Lamothe a remport\u00e9 des victoires individuelles en Coupe du monde \u00e0 Medell\u00edn et continue de d\u00e9montrer une progression remarquable sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale.<\/p>\n

En finale du Solo technique f\u00e9minin, Lamothe a sign\u00e9 une victoire serr\u00e9e devant la Slovaque Zofia Strapenkova, seulement 0,8483 point s\u00e9parant les deux athl\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Cette premi\u00e8re m\u00e9daille de la saison me donne beaucoup de motivation pour la suite \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Lamothe \u00e0 World Aquatics. \u00ab J\u2019ai encore beaucoup de choses \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer, alors c\u2019est tr\u00e8s satisfaisant de voir que tout mon travail porte ses fruits et je suis encore plus motiv\u00e9e \u00e0 donner davantage et \u00e0 obtenir encore plus de r\u00e9sultats \u00e0 l\u2019avenir. \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Elle a ensuite livr\u00e9 une performance encore plus dominante en solo libre. Pr\u00e9sentant son programme sur le th\u00e8me Tourner dans le vide<\/em>, Lamothe a \u00e9bloui les juges et obtenu un pointage de 247,0625, l\u2019emportant par une marge de 10,3600 points.<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u2019est incroyable, parce que j\u2019ai mis \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de travail, non seulement la saison derni\u00e8re, mais au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, et je trouve que cette fin de semaine est tr\u00e8s gratifiante pour moi \u00bb, a partag\u00e9 Lamothe. \u00ab \u00c7a m\u2019encourage beaucoup pour la prochaine saison et \u00e7a me motive \u00e0 donner le meilleur de moi-m\u00eame \u00e0 chaque entrainement et \u00e0 \u00eatre la meilleure athl\u00e8te possible. \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u00c9quipe Canada de retour sur le podium<\/h3>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve technique par \u00e9quipe, le Canada a pris le troisi\u00e8me rang, bon pour la m\u00e9daille de bronze \u00e0 sa premi\u00e8re sortie de l\u2019ann\u00e9e. Avec leur routine ex\u00e9cut\u00e9e sur la musique de C\u00e9line Dion, les Canadiennes ont partag\u00e9 le podium avec le Mexique (or) et les \u00c9tats-Unis (argent).<\/p>\n

D\u00e9buts prometteurs pour un jeune duo<\/h3>\n

Charlie Breault et Lily Bernier ont fait forte impression pour leurs d\u00e9buts ensemble sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale senior. Le jeune duo canadien a termin\u00e9 parmi les neuf meilleures \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve de duo technique, livrant une performance solide \u00e0 leur premi\u00e8re participation en Coupe du monde en tant que paire.<\/p>\n

La prochaine \u00e9tape pour l\u2019\u00e9quipe nationale sera une pr\u00e9sence \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec, o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9quipe offrira des prestations d\u2019exhibition dans le cadre des Qualifications nationales 2026.<\/p>\n
