Canada Artistic Swimming is pleased to announce that the 2019 Canadian Championships will be held in the city of Kamloops, BC, on May 6-12, 2019, at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
Hosted by Canada Artistic Swimming and the Kamloops Sunrays, in collaboration with Synchro BC, the Canadian Championships will feature, for the first time in decades, events in three age groups : 13-15, junior (15-18) and senior. In total, 23 national titles will be at stake in solo, duet, mixed duet, team, combo and highlight team events.
Over 600 artistic swimmers, coaches and officials are expected to converge on Kamloops for the week-long event which will be live-streamed to audiences around the world.
“We are very pleased to be coming back to Kamloops for our new combined National Championships” said Chief Executive Officer, Jackie Buckingham. “Kamloops hosted a very successful Espoir National Championships in 2014, and our colleagues from Synchro BC were instrumental in delivering a first-class Espoir/World Series event last year in Surrey, so we know we are in great hands.”

Athletes, coaches and officials will have the opportunity to reside in an Athlete Village set up for the event on the campus of Thompson Rivers University, where the Aquatic Centre is located.
