Thursday was another strong day for Canada in Riverside at the UANA Pan American Artistic Swimming Championships as the Canadian delegation climbed on the podium 5 times, earning 3 gold and 2 bronze medals.
In the solo free events held in the morning, Flynne Gossling from Toronto, ON, (Ontario Provincial Team), and Mikaëlle Gauthier, from Gatineau, QC, (Dollard Synchro), won gold in the junior and senior age groups.
The duet tech events were held in the afternoon and Canada captured two more medals. Andrée-Anne Côté and Claudia Holzner (Dollard Synchro) teamed up to capture gold in senior while Flynne Gossling and Madeline Whitten (Ontario Provincial Team) won bronze in the junior age group.
In the last event of the say, the free combination, Team Ontario delivered a strong rendition of their Cinderella-themed routine to win the bronze medal.
