Deck Privileges All Coaches must have proper accreditations on them at all times, and will be expected to have the proper level of certification as per rule 4.7 a): Coach eligibility is as per the current CAS Coach Registration and Certification Policy as posted on the CAS website on the Bylaws & Policies page.
Security & Health Services Trained Lifeguards will be on deck at all times during the competition
Rules for Gelling We ask that clubs consider doing gelling and degelling at the hotel whenever possible. Absolutely no degelling in the pool will be tolerated.
Where to Eat An area for eating with tables and chairs will be supplied

Late Entries Once the deadline has passed, changes can only be requested by email, at stephane@artisticswimming.ca, and will be subject to a late fee.

According to CAS Rule, 20.2.2 a), Each routine whose entry package has not been received or is incomplete by the stated deadline is automatically assessed a $50 fine. This fine must be paid to the Chief Referee or designate at the coaches meeting prior to the competition, or the routines concerned will be disqualified from the competition.

The FINAL deadline for late entries is 2 weeks prior to the start of the competition, on March 3, 2026, 11:59 pm EDT. No entries will be accepted after this date.

Athlete Fee The athlete fee is $150 per athlete (to be confirmed). The amount will be calculated through the RAMP competition registration system and calculated in the amount due there.
Payment Four payment methods are available. In both cases, payment must be received before the final payment deadline to avoid penalties.

  1. Preferred Method 1: By Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) to payment@artisticswimming.ca (we accept transfers with no passwords! If your bank still requires one, it should be QUAL2026)
  2. Preferred Method #2: By bank wire. Please contact june@artisticswimming.ca to get bank details if you’d like to pay this way.
  3. By credit card. When registering through RAMP, you will be able to do it directly through the system.
  4. By cheque, payable to Canada Artistic Swimming, sent to:

Note that the payment deadline is one week after registration, on March 3, 2026, but that late penalties will be strictly enforced.

Event Registration Form All clubs must fill out the online Event Registration Form (coming soon) to provide all the pertinent information to the Organizing Committee and to calculate total cost to remit to Canada Artistic Swimming.
Consent Forms & Waivers All athletes must fill out the Athlete Waivers and Medical Release (coming soon) forms by March 3, 2026.
Anti-Doping & Prohibited Substances By registering for this competition, athletes acknowledge that they agree to be subject to random unannounced anti-doping testing. Information about athletes’ rights and responsibilities, as well as the full list of prohibited substances, are available on the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport’s website, www.cces.ca.

FILE FORMAT

Please note that digital music will be used at this competition. There must be one digital file for each registered routine in an mp3 format, with a minimum required resolution of 192kbps.

File must be labeled with the following information, all separated by underscores, with no blank spaces

Deadline

The deadline to send all music is March 3, 2026, at 11:59pm in your timezone..

Please note that we ask you to respect this deadline even if your Provincial Qualifier is being held later than the deadline and that you’ve been given an extension to complete your registration. This will help us prepare our music files for the event. Anyone who believes they won’t be able to meet the deadline should let us know at stephane@artisticswimming.ca to avoid late fees.

FILE FORMAT

All Coach Cards must be sent in in Excel format and use the file created through the Coach Card software available here.

Please make sure you have the latest version of the software before exporting your files.

Labeling Convention

Files must be sent without changing the label from the export.

Deadline

The deadline to send coach cards is the Friday before the competition March 13, 2026, at 11:59pm in your timezone.

Further rules related to the process required to change a coach card after this deadline will be released later. Changes will only be allowed in 3 cases: Medical Issue, Between prelims and finals, or as a Coach Decision (which will require the payment of a fine).

  • 1 week before figures:
    • Group A, B or C will be drawn
    • Draw will take place on March 10/11, 2026
    • Draw result will be on Sportity
  • 72 hours before figures
    • Group # will be drawn
    • Draw will take place on March 14/15, 2025
    • Draw results will be on Sportity
  • There will be 2 panels of judges
  • All athletes will compete the same 2 figures
