Canada Artistic Swimming is proud to announce the athletes selected for its 2025 Senior Training Group, currently training full-time as they prepare for the 2025 World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cups and World Championships.
The group includes six returning Olympians, as well as three additional athletes who were part of the Doha World Championship team. The remaining athletes were selected from a week-long Selection Camp and bring valuable experience from competing for Canada at the World Youth and Junior World Championships.
The athletes are already training in Montréal under the expert leadership of Lead Coach Karine Doré, Next Gen Head Coach Kasia Kulesza, and Assistant Coach Yelyzaveta Yakhno. With the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) closed until March 2025, the team has been sharing pool time between the new aquatic centre in Laval, QC, and the pool at Cégep du Vieux Montréal.
“We are thrilled to welcome so many returning Olympians to the Centre,” said Coach Doré. “As we enter the new Olympic cycle, this is the perfect time to develop new routines, explore fresh choreography, and adapt to evolving changes and rules in the sport. As Lead Coach, I was inspired and proud to see the hard work displayed during the selection trials, and I truly appreciate the dedication shown by all athletes and coaches to prepare for the try-outs, which has continued as we train for the upcoming season.”
