Canada Artistic Swimming is proud to announce the addition of Marie-Lou Morin to its Board of Directors. Hailing from Montreal, QC, Marie-Lou brings an extensive background as an athlete and coach in artistic swimming and holds valuable business experience in the realms of both retail and sport. She further possesses expertise in wellness and life coaching that will further enhance her contributions to the organization.

Former captain of the Senior National Artistic Swimming Team, Marie-Lou boasts an illustrious career that spans from her early days in the 13-15 National Team to earning a gold medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto. Her achievements exemplify dedication and excellence, having participated in multiple FINA World Cups and World Championships all around the globe.

As a voting athlete representative on the Board, Marie-Lou will collaborate closely with Catherine Barrett, the Chair of the Athletes Council and fellow board member, to represent the athletes’ voice at the highest decision-making level. Florence Klein, CAS President and Chair of the Board, is looking forward to benefitting from Marie-Lou’s unique athlete-centered expertise, and extends her heartfelt congratulations for her well-deserved appointment, which received unanimous support from the Board.
