Canada Artistic Swimming is proud to announce the athletes who will form the 2025-2026 Senior National Team.
A total of 14 talented athletes have been invited to form the group that will be training at Montreal’s Institut National du Sport (INS) as they continue preparation for the upcoming competition season. While 12 athletes are returning from last season’s squad, 2 new members, Andrea Escobar and Lily Bernier have joined the group. They were both part of the Quebec provincial team and duet that won gold at last summer’s Canada Games.
The team selection process culminated at the beginning of November in Montreal with its final step – a week-long selection camp that featured 24 athletes from across the country. The selected athletes will be representing Canada during demonstrations as well as domestic and international competitions for the 2025-2026 season.
This year’s competition schedule starts in Februrary 2026 and will conclude in June in Toronto, where Canada will be hosting the World Cup Super Final for the first time.
“We’d like to thank and congratulate the athletes, coaches and clubs who participated in the selection process,” mentioned CAS Chief Operating Officer Stéphane Côté. “The level this year at trials was very high, and we look forward to seeing this squad perform this season as we embark on year 2 of the Olympic cycle with eyes ahead not only to this season, but also to Pan Am Games and World Championships in 2027.”
