Deck Privileges | Only Coaches and Athletes registered for the Event will be allowed in change rooms and on deck.
All Coaches must have proper accreditations on them at all times, and will be expected to have the proper level of certification as per rule 3.1.9 a): All coaches at the Qualifier/CASC must be fully certified at the Competition Development Level or NCCP Level 3. |

Rules for Gelling | We ask that clubs consider doing gelling and degelling at the hotel whenever possible. Gelling is allowed at the pool in the change rooms. Please always be respectful of the facility – this privilege can be taken away at any time. Absolutely no degelling in the pool will be tolerated. |
Rules for stretching & land drill | Stretching and land drill is allowed in certain areas of pool deck (to be confirmed by referee), as well as in the 2nd floor hall (where entrance to pool stands are located). Please always be respectful of patrons. |
Where to eat | Clubs are allowed to bring food in. Tables and chairs will be provided in the hall at pool level and it will be possible to plug in crockpots. |
Please note that there are significant changes to the way warmups will be conducted in 2019
- There will be no more scheduled competition pool warmups for solos and duets. Competitors will be given priority to warmup in the warmup pool prior and during the events, as noted in the schedule.
- In addition, all team events (team, combo & highlight routine) will have the opportunity to do full run-throughs with music in the competition pool on the day of the events. These trainings with music will be done in order of draw.

Late Entries | Once the deadline has passed, changes can only be requested by email, at [email protected], and will be subject to a late fee.
According to CAS Rule, 5.1.5 b), Each routine whose entry package has not been received or is incomplete by the stated deadline is automatically assessed a $25.00 fine. This fine must be paid to the Chief Referee or designate at the coaches meeting prior to the competition, or the routines concerned will be disqualified from the competition. The FINAL deadline for late entries is 2 weeks prior to the start of the competition, on March 12, 2019, 11:59 pm EST. No entries will be accepted after this date. |

Athlete Surcharge | The athlete surcharge fee is $75 per athlete. An online Event Registration Form will be provided to add this amount to the club’s total. | ||||||||||||||||

Payment | Two payment methods are available. In both cases, payment must be received before the final payment deadline to avoid penalties.

Event Registration Form | All clubs must fill out an online Event Registration Form (available later) which will be used to provide all the pertinent information to the Organizing Committee and to calculate total cost to remit to Canada Artistic Swimming. | ||||||||||||||||

Anti-Doping and prohibited substances | By registering for this competition, athletes acknowledge that they agree to be subject to random unannounced anti-doping testing. The figures draw for the 13-15 Figures event will be determined by Canada Artistic Swimming, according to CAS Rule 4.5.3.b.i.
The figure group […] shall be drawn and posted by the Chief Referee or his/her designate one week prior to the start of the figure event and will be posted on the Canada Artistic Swimming website immediately after they have been drawn.

Labeling Convention
File must be labeled with the following information, all separated by underscores, with no blank spaces
- Age Group: 13-15, Junior, Senior, Open (Combo + Highlight Team)
- Event: SoloTech, SoloFree, DuetTech, DuetFree, TeamTech, TeamFree, Combo, Highlight
- Club Name: no spaces please!
- Athlete Last Name: For duets, use both last names. For teams, please use the first swimmer’s last name, by alphabetical order
The deadline to send all music is March 5, 2019, at 11:59pm.
Please note that CAS rule 4.8.2.a will be strictly enforced:
If the music is not submitted by the deadline, if it is not in the correct format, if it is not labeled correctly, […] there will be a $100 fine per infraction.
