Canada Artistic Swimming proudly hosted the 2026 Canadian Artistic Swimming Championships this past week in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Held in partnership with the local Saskatoon Aqualenes club, the event welcomed 446 athletes from 37 clubs across 8 provinces for an exciting week of competition, celebration, and community.
The championships showcased exceptional performances across all age categories, with 35 medal events contested across the Youth, Junior, Senior, and Adaptive Artistic Swimming divisions. Canada Artistic Swimming extends a sincere thank you to Saskatchewan Artistic Swimming and the Saskatoon Aqualenes Club for their outstanding work as hosts of the event. Their dedication, hospitality, and commitment helped deliver a memorable championship experience for athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and fans from across the country.
The championships concluded with the athlete banquet on Saturday evening, celebrating the achievements, teamwork, and strong community spirit displayed throughout the week.
Sunday held the forth and final phase of the Junior National Team Selection Process where 16 athletes competed for the right to represent Canada at the upcoming Junior World Championships to be held indoors in Budapest, Hungary, this summer. Final selection results will be released next week.
During the event, details of the upcoming Canada Cup Summer Camp were also released, with registrations already underway.
