Note that events are combined – awards will be given for combined scores of tech and free routines. Competitors may choose to enter only tech events, but are not eligible for awards. Competitors are not allowed to enter only free event.

Entry Submission Information All registration and entries for domestic routines must be done online using Canada Artistic Swimming’s Event Registration system.

For international routines, please fill out the Final Entry Form document and send back to stephane@artisticswimming.ca before May 3, 2019.

Late Entries Once the deadline has passed, changes can only be requested by email, at registrar@artisticswimming.ca, and will be subject to a late fee.

According to CAS Rule, 5.1.5 b), Each routine whose entry package has not been received or is incomplete by the stated deadline is automatically assessed a $25.00 fine. This fine must be paid to the Chief Referee or designate at the coaches meeting prior to the competition, or the routines concerned will be disqualified from the competition.

The FINAL deadline for late entries is 3 weeks prior to the start of the competition, on May 10, 2019, 11:59 pm EST. No entries will be accepted after this date.

Athlete Event Fee The athlete eventy fee is $85 per athlete. Please fill out the online Event Registration Form to add this amount to the club’s total.
Payment Two payment methods are available. In both cases, payment must be received before the final payment deadline to avoid penalties.

  1. Preferred Method: By Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) to payment@artisticswimming.ca. Please use password MASTERS2019.
  2. By cheque, payable to Canada Artistic Swimming, sent to:

Note that the payment deadline is two weeks after registration, on May 17, 2019, but that late penalties will be strictly enforced.

Event Registration Form All clubs must fill out an online Event Registration Form which will be used to provide all the pertinent information to the Organizing Committee and to calculate total cost to remit to Canada Artistic Swimming.
Consent Forms & Waivers All athletes must fill out the Athlete Waivers and Medical Release forms which must be handed in at the registration table before the beginning of the competition.
Anti-Doping and prohibited substances By registering for this competition, athletes acknowledge that they agree to be subject to random unannounced anti-doping testing. Information about athletes’ rights and responsibilities, as well as the full list of prohibited substances, are available on the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport’s website, www.cces.ca.

Once you have filled out your Online registration Form, we will send you a Dropbox File Request which you must use to send your music files. Note that music files sent by email will NOT be accepted – the Dropbox link must be used.

Please note that digital music will be used at this competition. There must be one digital file for each registered routine in an mp3 format, with a minimum required resolution of 192kbps.

Labeling Convention

File must be labeled with the following information, all separated by underscores, with no blank spaces

  1. Age Group: 19-29, 30-39, etc
  2. Event: SoloTech, SoloFree, DuetTech, DuetFree, TrioTech, TrioFree, TeamTech, TeamFree, Combo
  3. Club Name: no spaces please!
  4. Athlete Last Name: For duets, use both last names. For trios and teams, please use the first swimmer’s last name, by alphabetical order

The deadline to send all music is May 10, 2019, at 11:59pm.

Please note that CAS rule 4.8.2.a will be strictly enforced:
If the music is not submitted by the deadline, if it is not in the correct format, if it is not labeled correctly, […] there will be a $100 fine per infraction.
