Canada ready to defend its Pan Am titles at TORONTO 2015

Competition gets underway tomorrow with technical events

Toronto, July 8, 2015 —Tomorrow, July 9, the synchronized swimming competition of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games will begin at the CIBC Pan Am Aquatic Centre. On the schedule are both the duet and team technical events.

The duet technical event will start at 12pm noon EDT. Canadians Jacqueline Simoneau and Karine Thomas will be looking to start off strong in their quest to win Pan Am gold and, with it, a berth to the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

The team technical event will begin at 6pm EDT, with Canada swimming last. Canadian swimmer for this event will be Gabriella Brisson, Annabelle Frappier, Claudia Holzner, Marie-Lou Morin, Samantha Nealon, Lisa Sanders, Jacqueline Simoneau and Karine Thomas.
