Jade Warren wins 13-15 figures at 2017 Canadian Qualifier Championships

Jade Warren, from GO Capital Synchro, won the 13-15 figures event on the opening day of the 2017 Canadian Qualifier Championships at the Desjardins Aquatic Centre at Université Laval’s PEPS.

The athlete from Ottawa, ON, received a cumulative mark of 73.3557 for her 4 figures, just in front of Flynne Gossling of Toronto’s Granite Synchro (73.1408) and Teah Hoffman from the Calgary Aquabelles (72.9111). More than 265 synchronized swimmers from all over Canada took part in the event.

Senior Solo Technical

In the senior solo technical event, Halle Pratt, from the Calgary Aquabelles, won the the national crown with a score of 81.5926 in front of two of her teammates on Canada’s NextGen National Team, Emily Armstrong from the Regional Training Centre – Ontario (RTC), in Toronto with 80.2747 and Audrey Joly from Dollard Synchro with 77.5220.

Senior Team Technical

In the senior team technical event, host club Quebec Excellence Synchro delivered a solid performance for a score of 67.9180 and the gold medal.

Junior Team Preliminaries

In the junior teams preliminary round, RTC-Ontario took the lead with an impressive score of 81.8000 ahead of the Calgary Aquabelles at 80.0667 and Québec Excellence Synchro at 76,7667.  The finals will be the closing event of the competition on Saturday evening.
