BIOGRAPHY
Laurence Vézina became a synchronized swimmer to follow the footsteps of her older sister, former COE member, Anne-Marie Vézina. Ever since, she has competed in many competitions. When she was only 12, she competed in Belgium with the Quebec’s Provincial Team, her first international competition and still one of her career’s highlights. 2015 was also a big year for Laurence as she won the gold medal at the Canada Winter Games with Team Quebec and also finished on the podium with the Junior National Team at UANA Panam Championships. No wonder she states that these two competitions are among the highlights of her career to this day.
