Canada Artistic Swimming has published a summary of the actions and ongoing projects related to “Rise Up: an action plan for a safe and inclusive environment”, initiated in April 2021.
During the quarter, we have focused on a number of important initiatives and partnerships as described in the quarterly report attached below. We have and continue to work with a sense of urgency to make sure we are doing our part in providing the environment the athletes and staff deserve as they get back in the National Team training facility.
Although we still have a long way to go in our plan, we are extremely proud of the work to date and feel very fortunate to have the support of a number of highly respected and qualified partners around different fields of expertise. Those partners include INclusion INcorporated, re-Root, Alias Solutions, LBB consultants, Own the Podium and FINA and the Canadian Olympic Committee among others.
In this second report, you’ll have further details on the following:
- Introduction from RUMC chair
- Culture revitalization project
- re-Root partnership for coaches training
- Belonging metric & e-learning module with INclusion INcorporated
- Alias “Make a report” online reporting tool
- Other important actions in the quarter
