Synchro Canada unveiled its 2016 Annual Award winners at its Annual Meeting & Convention last weekend in Montreal, QC.  Here are the winners.

This award recognizes athletes of Synchro Canada who has had significant success in synchronized swimming

The Life Time Achievement Award is presented to individuals, who in the judgment of the Board of Directors, have served, dedicated and contributed for 40 years or more.

Bridge Builder Award

Audrey Sribney, AB

This is a special recognition award given to a person who works today in order that those who follow tomorrow will find safety, strength and success in the sport of synchronized swimming, who demonstrates vision and flexibility for the future, as well as respect for Synchro Canada’s rich past.

Administrator of the year

Diane Lachapelle, QC

This award recognizes a member of Synchro Canada who has made a significant contribution to synchronized swimming in an administrative role.

President’s Pin

Pat McCann, ON

This award is given to members of the synchronized swimming community who, in the judgment of the Board of Directors, have shown commitment and dedication to synchro for fifteen (15) years or more of volunteer service to Synchro Canada.

Sylvie Fortier Award

Synchro Saskatchewan

This award is given to a provincial partner for the best membership growth percentage in the sport of synchronized swimming for the last year.

This award is given to members of the synchronized swimming community who, in the judgment of the Board of Directors, have contributed significantly for ten (10) or more years of volunteer service to Synchro Canada.

This award is given to the most outstanding official who has shown dedication and contributed the most to the betterment of the sport of synchronized swimming at the grassroots level.
