Canada sits first at the Swiss Open following the Team Tech event. Canada’s National ‘A’ Team put in a flawless performance and was rewarded for its efforts.

Canada is in first, while the team from China (Guindong) is second and the Swiss National team is third.

“Through the course of the week this team has made incredible strides from one training session to another,” said Canadian head coach Denise Sauve. “The girls were focused and put forth a great effort. The synchronization, energy, perfect patterns – they were all there at the right moment, that’s to say it was there during the performance for the judges.”

Canada’s National ‘A’ Team trains in Montreal, QC at the Centre of Excellence.

Canada will be competing in Combo tomorrow and the Team Free on Saturday.

In addition to Canada and Switzerland the competition also featured teams from
China and Australia as well as Swiss Club teams.
