The Team Technical program was the only event on the schedule on Friday at the World Junior Artistic Swimming Championships. A fast-paced routine lasting just under 3 minutes in which 8 athletes perform a series of pre-determined technical elements, the technical program featured entries from 20 countries in Budapest.

Swimming to music taken from chase scenes in the movie The Italian Job (2003), Team Canada delivered a powerful and energetic performance, earning a score of 84.4921 and the 7th position.

Russia and Ukraine, who have respectively earned gold and silver in all events so far at these Championships, continued their dominance and came in first and second place. Japan came third and earned its 4th bronze medal since the beginning of the week at Duna Arena.
