GETTING TO KNOW THE ATHLETE

  • Getting into the sport : Started swimming in Halifax, NS when she was four years old! “My sister was forcing me to do cartwheels,while my mom coached, I didn’t like that, so I asked my mom if I could start! She was excited to get me started!”
  • Career highlights: Swimming in the team event and winning Nationals
  • Family: Mom is a teacher for grades 2-4 ; Dad is a retired cop from Halifax, NS and is now living in Ontario ; Brother is in the military and is working in the car industry ; Sister is studying at SMU in Nova Scotia.

  • Outside interests: “I don’t really have time between synchro, school and work! But when I have time off I like to hang out with my friends,family. I also really enjoy naps!”
